Fabulous food, great ambience and excellent location make this a wonderful restaurant. Having wined and dined there on a number of occasions this is truly one of my favourite places in which to eat, looking out over the gently bobbing boats moored in the Canal de Fontana. Choose from the Menu Casola, which is available Monday to Thursday lunchtime and evenings and Friday lunchtime and consists of three courses and wine for just 21€ per person. It features starters such as tuna carpaccio with pink peppercorn sauce and “fenoll mari” or carpaccio of duck with “manchego” and dried fruits, both of which are delicious. Follow with fillets of seabass on a bed of garlic mash with an “all i pebre” sauce or perhaps a sirloin steak with an old mustard sauce and fresh vegetables. You can then enjoy a dessert or coffee. Specialities on the A La Carte menu include lobster stew; whole seabass cooked in salt and served at the table and leg of lamb filled with chestnuts and plums in a rich sauce. If you like traditional Spanish dishes then try one of their paellas or rice dishes.
