Take a break from the beach for lunch or pick up the phone and book your
table for the evening at La Plaza No.6. This large and sunny plaza lies
hidden along the Cabo la Nao, just behind the Shanghai Restaurant, through
the large blue gates, where the friendly and welcoming team at La Plaza
No.6 restaurant are waiting for you to join them for a meal to remember.
The chef at La Plaza No.6 made TV fame in Germany, whilst providing gastronomic
delights for guests on a luxury cruise liner, now brings his talents to
Spain. Using only the freshest ingredients which are delivered daily, we
know the quality of the food will be exceptional. You will be spoilt for
choice with their wonderful selection of meat, fish and vegetarian delights.
My friends and I enjoyed a wonderful selection of starters including,
the freshest mussels baked with a cheese gratin, a sinfully good baked
camembert and a crisp and tasty prawn salad. Priced from just 3.20€,
starters and not only tasty but also excellent value for money.
For my main course, I was recommended to try the salmon fillet with yoghurt
and herb sauce and it certainly did not disappoint. The creamy yoghurt
really complimented the delicate flavour of the salmon and was accompanied
by a lovely mixed salad. Yummy! My friends loved their dishes too, which
included a tender lamb shoulder and a veal sirloin steak which was cooked
to perfection. Main courses once again provide excellent value starting
at just 6€.
Also a menu del media dia and regular special menus, including a menu
for children in the summer. There is an extensive choice of wine and beer
to accompany your meal including a selection from both Spain and Germany.
La Plaza No. 6 is open daily from 11am for late breakfast and drinks
and from 12 to 3.30pm for lunch. Fresh homemade cakes are available every
day. Evening meals start from 6.30 to 10.30pm. They are closed on Mondays.
