Located on the top floor of the Hotel Javea in the Port, the most impressive of sea views and the modern, classy, interior with its candlelit tables and intimate feel, will soon put you in the mood for a romantic dinner for two. The management and attentive, International, staff pride themselves on being a real team who will cater for your every need from start to finish. The menu is exclusive and imaginative and so confident are the staff in their chefs that, should there be something not actually on the menu but that your taste buds are dying for, they will try their utmost to satisfy that desire. Although with such an extensive range of dishes on offer, I would imagine that, very few diners would need to take advantage of this offer. I began with large red prawns on a crust of dried fruits and herbs, curly kale and a vinaigrette of beetroot. What an exquisite combination of flavours! My main course was a fillet of red bream with pistachios and a red wine sauce that was cooked to perfection. For dessert I chose fresh figs steeped in exotic mulled sangria and served with a white turrón mousse - a pure melt-in-the-mouth sensation! All complimented with a bottle of excellent Rioja from the extensive wine list. In addition to the á la carte menu, a lunchtime menu is offered at €19.75 and in the evening a two course menu is served for €22.75 or three courses for €29.75. I would highly recommend the Attico Restaurant for an unbeatable evening of fine dining.

Under the same Management as the Attico Restaurant, the Lounge Café overlooks the sea and Javea Bay from its location in the port. Open from 08.30am in the mornings why not have breakfast there for a change?
You could virtually travel through Europe with their Paris, London and Javea breakfasts or, if you have just been to the gym, you may prefer their Fitness breakfast!
Then there's sweet or savoury pastries, eggs cooked however you fancy, toasted baguettes with good old honey or jam or you could go “local” and opt for the one with olive oil and freshly pulped tomatoes - delicious! The Lounge Café is also a great place for a lunch stop with freshly made hot and cold sandwiches, crisp and crunchy salads, or you may like to share one of their platters of cheese, sausages, pâtés or ham. Those with more substantial appetites have a variety of pasta, meat and fish dishes to choose from.
Moving on now to dinner. Relax on the ground floor or upstairs terrace and watch the world going by with an aperitif before poring over the menu again! Don't forget to leave some room for one of their delectable desserts!
